Follow Up for Comprehensive Patients
This is individualized care and takes time to find what works (or doesn’t) for your child.
The expectation is minimum of 3 - 4 follow up visits in the year to monitor progress, review lab work, specialty tests, modify treatments and evaluate next steps in the healing process. After the first year, we will monitor at least once annually and as needed. Some children will need more frequent visits, some less, no two children are alike in their responses. This is individualized care and takes time to find what works (or doesn’t) for your child. This visit can be in person or telemedicine, whichever you prefer.
Why we started Praxis Integrative Pediatrics.
Brenda noticed a concerning rise in pediatric chronic issues like Autism, ADHD, Asthma, Allergies, Frequent illnesses, Gut issues, and Headaches - conditions that weren’t prevalent during her childhood.
Seeking answers for her patients, she attended conferences and pursued education in alternative therapies within integrative and functional medicine. Brenda discovered that integrative medicine focuses on identifying the root causes of health issues and promoting long-term wellness rather than temporary quick fixes. After personally benefiting from a specialized test and botanical treatment that avoided surgery, her commitment to this approach deepened. Brenda recently completed her Fellowship in the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (FMAPS), equipping her to help others identify underlying causes of symptoms and reclaim their health.
