we use

Nutraceuticals

Supplementation with nutraceuticals typically includes a combination of vitamins, minerals, and other natural substances such as antioxidants, enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, and amino acids. Only what is needed will be prescribed, as some nutraceuticals are not suited for specific conditions or may not be suitable for early treatment.

Nutraceuticals are individualized, so we will discuss options with you prior to treatment. These interventions can support healthy metabolism and function and resolve underlying health issues. We use physician-grade nutraceuticals to ensure the purity and efficacy of the supplements you purchase and use.

Botanical Medicine

One of the oldest forms of medical intervention is using medicinal plants to promote natural healing. These plants, many of which are herbs, are used for specific purposes. When used in the correct dose and in proper combination with other substances, they can be effective, safe, and restorative. Botanical medicines, come in many forms, such as syrups, teas, capsules, powders, and creams.

Nutrition

Diet is foundational to our health. What we eat and drink on a daily basis determines whether or not our body’s cells receive the nutrients they need to perform their many functions. We believe that food is medicine, so diet and nutrition play a primary role in our treatment plan. Research shows that a healthy gut is connected to proper brain and immune system function, a healthy metabolism, and good emotional health. When we discuss diet for your child, we will look at food sensitivities, allergies, and personal preferences, and then work with you to determine the appropriate dietary interventions needed to support your child’s nutritional health.

Pharmaceuticals

We do use pharmaceuticals when necessary, such as antibiotics, antifungals, antihelminths, antivirals, etc. in combination with the above modalities to minimize gut microbiome disruption and other side effects.

A Word about Therapies

Speech, Physical, Occupational, Feeding, ABA, Counseling, and other Therapies

We do not offer any of these therapies; however, many children do need these services, and we highly recommend them to those who need them. Our biomedical therapies are in conjunction with these therapies and do not, nor can they, take the place of these therapies.

As the practice grows, I hope to add more modalities like HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment)
